Delivery Schedule

We aim to dispatch all orders on the day of ordering*. Goods can be sent to your registered credit card address or alternatively to another address providing all details are confirmed. Please note that Playemporium reserves the right to change the delivery method or carrier without prior notice to an equal or superior service.

*Orders placed on a working day before 16.00hrs.

Orders placed on a Friday before 16.00hrs will be dispatched on a Monday. Orders placed after 16.00hrs on a Friday, on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday will be despatched on a Tuesday. A signature is required on delivery, if no one is home a card will be posted through the door with contact information. You will need to go to your local sorting office to pick up the item. Please take the card and identification with you.

Postage and Packaging

Our rates are based on package weight and size. All UK orders are sent via either Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery depending on the value of the purchase.

Handling Charge

Due to the new way in which postal charges are now calculated on both weight and size, it has been necessary for us to introduce a variable handling fee on products that maybe either excessively heavy or bulky. You will see this charge clearly indicated during the checkout process where applicable.

Back Orders and Split Orders

If your item is not in stock, you will be notified by email and we will automatically back order it for you. If the lead time is over 5 days you will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Your online account will also be updated if goods are temporarily out of stock.

If part of your order is either not in stock or not yet due for release, then your order will, under normal circumstances, be held until all items are available. Occasionally, however, we may decide to despatch you order in two or more consignments but this is totally at our discretion.

Alternative Delivery Address

When requesting delivery to an address other than the cardholders address (the address the credit/debit card that was used to make the payment is registered to) we may require additional verification.
